Friday 16th May 2008 : DJ-1800 and Mac OS 10.4.11 on Intel Macs |
We have had reports of an audio problem when using DJ-1800 on Mac OS 10.4.11 on an Intel Mac.
The reported problem is that playing a track in DJ-1800 results in crackles and dropouts in the playing audio.
On further investigation, it turns out that this problem is caused by a recent AirPort Extreme software update from Apple, rather than a bug in DJ-1800. The problem is also affecting other audio applications, including Apple's own GarageBand.
We have found a way to fix this problem on your Mac.
We have put together a comprehensive FAQ about this problem, with full instructions for the fix. If you have any queries, or if you think this may affect your setup, please do read the FAQ for more information.
